International Driving Permit (IDP) - Bangkok

Get an International Driving Permit in Bangkok, based on your Thai driver's license. Useful for driving in other countries, where a Thai license alone isn't recognized.

Fee: 1,500 THB. Processing takes 1 to 3 working days.

Requirement

• Your Thai driver's license must be valid for 5 years

Documents you need

• Photocopy of your passport, signed
• Photocopy of your valid visa page, signed
• Photocopy of your Thai driver's license, signed
• Power of attorney, signed. We email this to you to print and sign.
• Residence certificate
• Two 2-inch photos, white background

All documents must be submitted physically. Digital copies aren't accepted for this process.
